Our ambassador Ineke Sluiter receives Medal of Honour for Arts and Science
Ineke Sluiter, professor of Greek language and culture at Leiden University and ambassador of Leiden Convention Bureau, has been awarded with the Medal of Honour for Arts and Science in the Huisorde van Oranje.
On 25 November 2024, King Willem-Alexander awarded the Medal of Honour for Art and Science in the Huisorde van Oranje to Prof Dr Ineke Sluiter.
This prestigious award is given to individuals who have made exceptional contributions to art or science.
Prof Dr Sluiter received the Medal of Honour in recognition of her scholarly work as professor of Greek language and literature and for her achievements as a member of the Palace Committee, the advisory body of the Amsterdam Royal Palace Foundation.
