Wereldmuseum Leiden, a national institution housed in a 19th-century former academic hospital since 1935, traces its roots to the Rijks Ethnographisch Museum established in 1837. As one of the world's oldest ethnological museums, it boasts over 240,000 artifacts and 500,000 audiovisual resources from global cultures. The Hooglandse Kerk, situated in the heart of historic Leiden, originated as a wooden chapel in 1315 and evolved into a stunning Gothic church over 150 years. With a floor area of 2800 m2, it accommodates up to 1500 people in a theater setting, with flexible configurations using large screens for simultaneous sessions. The knave, separable by lowering screens, seats around 500 and offers excellent acoustics. Adjacent meeting rooms in “Het Hooglandse Huys” accommodate 45-65 people each. For over 900 years, Pieterskerk Leiden has been a central monument, symbolized by the keys of St. Peter, with historic ties to Leiden University. Now a national monument for over 50 years, it serves diverse functions. Hosting major university events, conferences, concerts, and cultural activities, the 3300 m² space, expandable with an additional 900 m² outdoors, impresses visitors. Modern facilities, a Meyer sound system, and a dedicated team ensure seamless (hybrid) events. Naturalis, as the national research institute for biodiversity, unites under one roof in its new facility, serving as the Dutch center for biodiversity. The institute accommodates business meetings in a unique environment. The Auditorium, centrally located with beautiful oak interiors, is ideal for large presentations or conferences, accommodating up to 290 people. The Atrium, a striking space, is perfect for grand parties or dinners, hosting 450 people in a dining setting and up to 1100 in a party setup. Rijksmuseum Boerhaave, housed in a historic Leiden monastery from 1440, showcases the essence of science and medicine—curiosity, courage, creativity, and perseverance. The conference room accommodates 110 people in theater style, while the foyer seats 80. Founded in 1590, Hortus botanicus Leiden, the oldest surviving botanical garden in the Netherlands, offers three unique rooms for meetings and events. CORPUS Congress Centre, located in Leiden Bio Science Park, offers an inspiring venue centered around the human body's exploration. The lounge, a 7-meter-high open space of 450 m2, features a bar and terrace for networking and breaks. The main congress hall, spanning 568 m2, accommodates up to 540 people in plenary sessions or can be reorganized for 300 people with breakout rooms. The penthouse on the 8th floor provides panoramic views for up to 60 attendees. Additionally, guests can experience the 'journey through the human body.'
