"Historically, Leiden has been a significant hub for narcolepsy research. The cause of this sleep disorder was identified with the help of patients in Leiden. Additionally, one of the treatments for narcolepsy was first tested in Leiden. Leiden is an ideal destination, and you can easily reach it from Schiphol Airport by train. Once you arrive at the station, everything is within walking distance. The historical city provides an ideal setting. The educational building of the Leiden University Medical Center, which was perfect for our needs. The conference had a medical focus, and there was ample space for poster presentations and interaction among participants."
