Leiden University professors and lecturer appointed by Medical Delta
On November 14th, six professors and one lecturer from Leiden University were inaugurated as 'Medical Delta Professors and Lecturer' during the Medical Delta Conference in Rotterdam. Medical Delta is a coalition comprising governmental bodies, healthcare organizations, and educational institutions, including Leiden University, the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), and Leiden University of Applied Sciences. Its objective is to foster technological alternatives for sustainable healthcare.
The professors and lecturer, through their inauguration, have not only received recognition but also assume the role of ambassadors for further collaboration in the field of health and technology. Through their research and work, they have demonstrated their ability to bridge scientific disciplines and connect science with practical applications.
The distinguished individuals who received the inauguration are Douwe Atsma (LUMC, TU Delft), John van den Dobbelsteen (TU Delft, LUMC, Erasmus MC), Johan Frijns (LUMC, TU Delft), Annete van der Helm - van Mil (LUMC, Erasmus MC), Coen Rash (LUMC, TU Delft), Amir Zadpoor (TU Delft, LUMC), and Sanne de Vries (The Hague University of Applied Sciences, LUMC).
