Nienke van der Marel as one of the winners of The New Horizons in Physics prize!

One of these researchers, a professor at Leiden University, Nienke van der Marel, is one of the recipients of The New Horizons in Physics Prize. Alongside three other prominent researchers, she discovered and characterized dust traps. Dust traps are regions with dynamic rings of gas and dust around stars where dust particles accumulate.
