Team Leiden University wins second place in Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court

The annual Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court competition, an event focusing on space law and public international law, was held in the city of Vienna, Austria, from April 8 to 12, 2024. This year, the case revolved around protecting the dark and quiet skies and freedom of scientific research.
Team Leiden University
The Leiden University team, consisting of David Eagleson, Solène Flambeaux and Aleksandra Spyra, current students of the Advanced LL.M. in air and space law, demonstrated exceptional skills and knowledge during the competition, earning them second place. The team was guided by Dimitra Stefoudi from the International Institute of Air and Space Law (IIASL) and Dr. PJ Blount from Cardiff University.
